Questions for Linux Terminal Services Project
Questions:
- How to install Linux Terminal Services
- What does the school network look like?
- Are there already wires in place (that could run to the new “server”)?
- Does the room have sufficient power? Is the power distributed appropriately for this setup?
- What types of applications does the school need?
- Who will support the system?
- How will we document the setup?
- What are FAQs?
- What are the best open source applications for elementary school students?
- Edubuntu version?
- How is technology used in the existing curriculum?
- What is the Internet speed? Routing info? Who supports technology for the school?
- Approximately how many machines are candidates to become terminals?
- Environmental controls (no air conditioning)?
- Peripherals (keyboard, mouse, cables, etc)?
